Mike Walsh to be APVOFM Director of Training and Member Services

APVOFM is thrilled to announce that Mike Walsh will be our new Director of Training and Member Services.  Many of you know Mike through his work as head of the Office of Acquisition and Assistance (OAA) at USAID where he has been for the past 3 years.  He brings extensive background and experience gained from his many years working in the field as the Director for the Regional Contracting Office, USAID/East Africa in Kenya , and as a Contracting Officer in Egypt and Bangladesh as well as his service at the Office of Food for Peace and the Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance.

Mike is looking forward to meeting with members over the coming weeks and months both in the US and the field to share his knowledge and to gain insight into the PVO community in order to find out how we can better serve member needs.  Mike will be part of the training team for APVOFM's December 5-7 Rules and Regs workshop in Jakarta .
