Publications and SurveysIndirect Cost Survey
Since 1990 the Association of PVO Financial Managers has surveyed its membership on indirect cost and fringe rates. The final report indicates those line items agencies allocate directly and which they allocate to an indirect cost pool. The report gives financial managers a sense of whether their administrative and finance staff ratio is comparable to those of his/her peers. In addition, it gives participating agencies an accurate reading on how his or her agency's fringe rate compares with other organizations. If you want to participate, please send an email to info@apvofm.org to request a questionnaire. Only organizations that participate will receive the published survey. All information is kept confidential and results of the survey are reported in a manner that protects the confidentiality of all participants. We hope to have the survey questionnaire available on line. Salary and Benefits SurveyEvery year, The Personnel Co-op surveys salary, benefit, and salary administration policies for HQ staff in international development and relief organizations. Over 100 organizations participanted in our most recent survey. If you would like to participate, please send an email to info@personnelcoop.org and request the questionnaires. Only organizations that participate will receive the published report. Every two years, The Personnel Co-op surveys agencies on expatriate compensation and allowances for not-for-profit organizations in international development. The report provides information on salary and salary ranges for 20 benchmark expat positions. The report includes personnel practices, benefits and allowances for expatriate employees as well. Please send an email to info@personnelcoop.org if you'd like to participate in the current Expat Survey. The published survey will be offered only to participating organizations.
